John cofounded Abbott Aircraft Sales and Service, LLC, now known as AVIATE, in 2008 in Jefferson City, Missouri with his father William Abbott to whom he contributes his love of flying. John is the current president and general manager of the company where he combines his excellent business management skills with his expertise in flight management.

Business Management

Angie became co-owner of Aviate in January 2015. She is office manager and head of Human Resources. Angie began doing bookwork when she was 15 years old. She has owned and co-owned multiple businesses specializing in real estate. Mrs Abbott has an English degree with minor in Spanish from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.Angie focuses on employees’ concerns and aspirations. She helps team members to achieve their career goals and feel at home. Angie enjoys traveling and flying with her husband.

A&P Mechanic

Meet Eli Hines, Aviate's newest aircraft technician. Originally from Winfield, Missouri, Eli graduated from State Technical College with an A&P Certification. He was previously employed by Ozark Management where for seven years he worked on various aircraft ranging from corporate jets to old warbirds.

Steve Mason
Pilot

Steve grew up in Columbia, Missouri where he began flying at the age of sixteen. He studied Aeronautical Sciences at Central Missouri State University. After graduating college, Steve worked as a flight instructor at CMA.
